1. Introduction. Welcome to Homecare Pro! We are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we, at Homecare Pro, collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

Homecare Pro(“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Homecare Pro application (the “Service”). We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect. Personal Information: This may include names, contact details, identification documentation, medical certification documentation, and sensitive PII such as social security documents.

When you opt in to receive text messages, we collect your mobile phone number and maintain a log of message metadata (date/time, carrier, message status). We use this information solely to deliver transactional Mobile Messages (credential reminders, document-signature requests, security codes).

You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, after which we will send a single confirmation and delete or anonymize your messaging preferences within 30 days. Standard message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Caregiver-Directed Sharing Information: If you choose to share your information with an agency you designate through the Service (“Caregiver-Directed Sharing”), we collect and store (i) the identity of the receiving agency you select, (ii) the categories of information and/or documents you choose to share, (iii) the date/time of sharing and related audit logs.

3. Use of Collected Information. We use the information we collect to improve the Service for you. Specifically, we provide and maintain the Service, notify you about changes to our Service, allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so, provide customer care and support, provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service, monitor the usage of the Service, and detect, prevent, and address issues.

We also use information to enable and administer Caregiver-Directed Sharing at your request, including transmitting the information you choose to a receiving agency you designate, maintaining an audit trail of sharing activity, and helping prevent fraud, unauthorized sharing, or misuse of accounts.

4. Data Storage and Security. Security Measures: We employ 2FA and protect data transmission using 256-bit TLS encryption. At rest, your data is safeguarded using AES-256 encryption. Data Centers: Our servers are hosted in SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 certified data centers located in the US.

5. Data Sharing. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Sharing at Your Direction (Caregiver-Directed Sharing): If you are a caregiver user, you may choose to share certain information and/or documents in your account with another agency that you designate within the Service. Homecare Pro does not assist agencies in discovering caregivers or promote caregiver information to agencies; any sharing under this section is initiated by you and occurs only at your direction. You control what you share (for example, profile information, onboarding information, and selected documents).

Important: When you direct us to share information with a receiving agency, that agency receives and may store and use the information for its own onboarding, credentialing, compliance, employment, and related administrative purposes. The receiving agency’s handling of that information is governed by its own policies and legal obligations. Homecare Pro is not responsible for the receiving agency’s privacy or security practices.

Homecare Pro does not sell your personal information, including your mobile number, and does not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. User Rights. Access and Deletion: In accordance with CCPA requirements, users may contact us at info@homecarepro.io to delete their personal information or withdraw their consent for data processing. Data Inventory & Mapping: Users may request an inventory of personal information that we collect, the purpose of collection, and which parties have access to it.

7. Cookies and Tracking. We utilize third-party cookies for remarketing purposes to help us understand user behavior and enhance your experience with our services.

When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or home address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email or home addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout

8. Data of Minors. We do not knowingly collect or process data from individuals under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
